Doing this whole school, work, and blogging thing has been somewhat of a struggle for me...I don't know how some of you do it all! I think I have finally found a way to schedule some time for blogging though! School has been good for the most part; although my sleep schedule has definitely been taking a toll on me (confession: there have been some nights where I've fallen asleep studying and haven't even made it to my bed)! Besides school and mentoring here's what I've been up to recently...
I still LOVE watching The Voice. When I heard the news that Christina and Cee Lo were leaving the show next season, I'll admit I was a little sad. Cee Lo is just too funny! This season should be very interesting; I feel like almost everyone the judges picked are great singers!
I am patiently for my iPhone 5 to arrive! I have had the 3G (yes, I'm aware it is super old) for over 2 years so it is definitely time for an upgrade! While I have heard the news that the maps are horrible, I don't use them that much and I am sure that Apple will have an update within a few months. In the mean time, I am trying to pick out a case! I am trying to decide between a case from society6 or Speck.
I am in love with this case...my favorite colors are blue and green!
This Speck case seems to be protective, but it is not as unique as I would like a case to be. Maybe I will just get both or ask for one for Christmas!
With J. Crew's new Factory Store, I have gone on somewhat of a J. Crew spree (but I only buy items that are on sale!) Here is what I purchased!
J. Crew Factory Shirt in White: I got this on sale for about $29! It fits me perfectly
J. Crew 3" Chino Shorts in African Violet. These are totally me, and I put them in my shopping cart for only $20!
I also got the crewcuts white matchstick jeans (I snagged them before they sold out on the website, so there is no picture sadly)...I am so excited for this purchase because these will be my first pair of white jeans...long overdue!
I absolutely love, love to read. I have been dying to reread the Harry Potter series, but I lost my copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! I guess in 4th grade I didn't have a good system for keeping books on a shelf hah. I decided to purchase a copy from Amazon, but they do not sell the HP books in hardback :(
Currently, I am about to get back to work on schoolwork. I am obsessed with Spotify and am always looking for new music to add to my study playlist. I love "Little Talks" by Of Monsters and Men so I decided to listen to their album while working. Umm I'm in love! I particularly like this song
